Imagine this scenario: You're leading the Mexican round of the World Rally Championship by less than a minute with only one service and two stages to go. Heading into service, you know that if anything goes slightly askew, your lead will instantly disappear, dimming hopes for a world championship and making the rest of the season an uphill battle. That's exactly the situation Markko Martin and the Ford Rallye Sport WRC team found themselves in last March, the first time the WRC had been in North America in more than 15 years.

They handled the pressure brilliantly and went on to finish; Martin and his teammate, Francois Duval, on the podium in first and second, respectively. Following are a few glimpses into what happens during those amazing 20 minutes in service.
