2007 Dunlop World Finals Europe - Auto Focus

Dunlop Drivers Cup Nissan 350Z

The People's CurseWhat happens when 33 other teams think your car is worth more than $500? Two lovely ladies go to town on it with a pickaxe and sledgehammer, before an angry mob rolls it over. Then you race it for seven hours. Read all about it on page 86.

We WinLast-minute production issues meant that Editor Ed couldn't compete in the 2006 Dunlop Driver's Cup, so in his place went freelance ringer Todd Eagan. In competitions ranging from motorcross to karting to lapping 350Zs around Virginia International Raceway, Eagan dominated, eventually winning his media class and a spot on the American team alongside Kevin Clarke, Lee Clark, David Furchak, Billy Link and Egon Szenttamasy. In April, these six guys will head to Europe to take part in the 2007 Dunlop World Finals, a 10-day competition to crown the world's best non-professional driver. Good luck.
