Although rain threatened to shake things up over the weekend, the GReddy Performance Festival kicked off Saturday morning without a hitch.
Clear skies kept enthusiasts pouring in to see several of GReddy’s top tuner vehicles, including their ’07 Nissan 350Z with a first-to-market VQ35HR turbo kit that debuted at the 2007 SEMA show.
By mid-afternoon the car show area was filled, the auto-x and drifting courses were in high gear and the GReddy tent had a line that wrapped around the building of people eager to score GReddy parts at discounted prices. Mother Nature, however, decided she had held back for long enough. A slight drizzle began to clear out most of the car show and vendor areas. But some people didn’t let a bit of rain spoil the day and were rewarded with various GReddy parts and accessories from the ongoing raffles and giveaways.
Overall, the 2008 GReddy Performance Festival was a worthwhile event. Despite a few hiccups with organization, we commend GReddy for putting on a true enthusiast’s event for the best price anyone could ask - free!
