2006 Hot Import Nights Night Shift Las Vegas Toyota Celica

Coming off the highly successful HIN Los Angeles event, the fine folks at Vision Entertainment rolled into the city that never sleeps with their Night Shift event. Bringing the best of show, drift, models and motorcycle stunts, the Night Shift event was a huge hit in Las Vegas. Before we get to the show however, we packed up and rolled out with operation:bluetape where Phil Trinh lead a pack of devoted sport compact fans from Northern California all the way to Las Vegas. Some of the cars making the trip included Norman Tong's true JDM Honda Fit, David Huang's Team Hybrid IS350 and Team Jinsoku's "BumbleBee Celica".

Once we rolled into Sam Boyd stadium however, it was clear that the sport compact show scene in Las Vegas was ready to show the nation what it had to offer. Southern California and Northern California represented with some of their cleanest rides including Team Hybrid, TWCompetition, Auto Concept, High End and Status out of Hermosa Beach. Several luxury cars were on hand including a trio of brand new Lexus GS's slammed on 20's. Highlights from the show included High End's fleet of cars, extremely clean JDM styled cars from Northern California and Las Vegas showed their drifting scene is alive and well with plenty of AE86s and S13s.

The Modified M Lounge was packed as always, with beautiful faces such as Amber Lancaster, Ursula Mayes and Michelle Zen just to name a few. Our October featured model, Jae Angel brought the crowd in modeling at the Modified Magazine booth. For those that wanted to take a break from the models and the show cars, Night Shift and Dunlop Tires brought out some fancy drifting action. A couple of female drifters, Amanda Lam and Kathryn Tanaka, were on hand to show the boys what's up. These up and coming female drifters were shocking the crowd in their S13s! All in all, there was something for everyone even in the exciting city of Las Vegas at this Night Shift event!
