Hot Import Nights GUAM

After what seemed to be a never ending winter and cold that would chill the bones of even Frosty the Snowman (if he had bones) HIN kicked off the 2007 season with a show that would be a little bit out of the norm. HIN Guam was our destination and what a great time was had by all!

Most of you should know where Guam is, after all it is an American territory. Guam is located in the Western Pacific Ocean and is the largest island of the Mariana Islands group, but that’s enough of this geography lesson. Go look it up. Buzz was floating about the island for months and there was lots of rumors of local show participants redoing their rides in hopes of taking home HIN GOLD. There was everything from JDM styled Civic’s and Sylvia’s to rock crawling jeeps and a even Lamborghini.

The show went down without a hitch even though rain showers misted the cars and the attendants, it didn’t seem to faze anyone. They all went on with that they had to do, and that was to see the cars. A few of the larger crews had taken tremendous care in prepping their whips for HIN. Top crew taking home most of the glory was “Made 2 Excite”. Aside from their top notch cars, they also had the most enthusiasm.

Just when you thought the show was over, it was just getting thrown into second gear. The after party kicked off at a small club around the way called Oceans 7. It was a great way for everyone to unwind and enjoy the rest of the already long night.

So when all was said and done we were very surprised and pleased with the show and all the attendees. To see that Guam has an exceptional car scene was very refreshing and motivating. If your looking at traveling in the next year and would like to throw a car show into your activities, keep Guam and HIN on your maps because its definitely something to see! And remember you don’t need a key to get onto the beach … because the beach is outside!!!
