Hot Import Nights LA 2008

The “Superbowl” of HIN continued the 2008 show season with a bang as hundreds of cars, dozens of models, and an excess of entertaining artists such as The Game and others gave fans and participants alike an experience to remember. With everything from mainstream tuner vehicles to VIP cars and exotics and a stunning lineup of R32 to R35 thrown in for good measure, there was certainly something for everyone to appreciate.

Bianca Smith, Miss HIN 2008, was crowned live on stage before thousands as the evening’s entertainment kept rolling on. Models, go-go dancers, and booth babes were found at all ends of the show floor and everywhere in between, posing for snapshots and signing an endless stream of autographs for fans. Some of the more elaborate car club displays featured their own umbrella girls and specialized lighting setups, while other teams such as TWC went so far as to feature an actual ice sculpture with their team logo and name.

Towards the end of the evening The Game kept things moving with his first LA concert in over two years. Giveaways and prizes from sponsors such as GM, NOS Energy Drink, and Boost Mobile also took place even as fans began to file out. At the very end of the night the car show awards were announced and fans began lining up for their trophies.
