1995 Lexus SC300 - Pimpin'

The relentless pursuit of sleeperness

Inside, there's nothing to notice except for a whole lot of supple, broken-in Lexus leather, the AEM EMS in the passenger footwell, and the A'PEXi AVC-R in the dash below an Alpine head unit. The rest of the stereo has been upgraded mildly with simple drop-in components, Polk Audio/MOMO speakers in the front and rear stock locations, a pair of Rockford Fosgate amps, and a single 12-inch prefabricated sub enclosure in the trunk. And this Lexus remains packed with luxury items, from air conditioning to power windows, locks, seats and mirrors.

Currently, Oda's SC is being prepped for the next phase of its life as a competitive drift car. It'll be getting a minor exterior facelift, new paint, new wheels and new tires. It's kind of a shame. In a perverse sort of way, we like it just the way it is.
