A TC For The Celebrity B-List - Spin Out

All The News Without Fear Or Favor

Nissan ForiaThe Foria is just a concept vehicle right now, but it's about the same size as the dearly missed Silvia/240SX and manages the neat trick of looking both classic and thoroughly modern. The engine is up front in this car with the rear wheels doing the driving and, like Mazda's RX-8, there's a set of rear-hinged doors that allow access to the rear seats.

Chrysler AkinoIt used to be that Chrysler saved all its concept cars for debut at the Detroit Auto Show. Not anymore. Despite proportions that suggest a toaster more than a car, the Akino is a neatly detailed box that manages to look both good and awkward at the same time with a very nice interior. And you've got to love the suicide doors. A pure concept, there doesn't seem to be a drivetrain aboard. It's named after it's designer, Akino Tsuchiya, 37, who was born in Japan but now works out of Chrysler's Pacifica studio in California.

Honda FCXIf there's one thing Honda's current hydrogen fuel cell-powered FCX demonstration vehicle isn't, it's beautiful. This FCX concept takes the FCX idea and wraps it up in gorgeous panels. Production occurs just as soon as all economics line up. So don't hold your breath.
