Grand Theft AutoWe had tuning, interior work, and other outrageous ideas in the works for the next installment. But someone in the wonderful city of Las Vegas decided our efforts at weight reduction weren't drastic enough. So they stole the car, and did us the favor of removing the drivetrain, electronics, doors, wings, suspension, Buddy Club racing buckets and just about all things that made it a "car."

And just when we thought Project Miata was back for good.

The next installment of Project Miata will be on "starting over" and doing some of the things we wished we did in the first place. Maybe the third resurrection will be the charm.

While we are pissed this Miata faced the same fate as our second gen. car from a couple years ago, we're excited about the new direction, and happy for the knucklehead that is now running around with all our stuff on his or her car. So if you see a miata with massive brakes, one of a kind coilovers and a big-ass, funny looking wing on it, that number once again is 9-1-1. -Matt Andrews
