In the near future, Pat plans to lighten the S4, perhaps by taking it off the street and completely gutting it to convert it into a racecar for NASA's Super Unlimited road racing class. Moving up to TTA, NASA's highest time trial class, may also be in the cards. This strikes fear in my heart, as I am currently building a Nissan 300ZXTT for the same class. Perhaps this time I'll be the one beaten by an Audi in "any contest of speed."

A black blur flies by on the outside of a fast sweeper and I am amazed to see the familiar 4-circle Audi emblem affixed to the rear decklid as it rapidly disappears in the distance.
AMS stuck with tried and proven OEM Audi parts for the buildup of Pat's monster motor, not a bad idea considering that OEM parts are usually better-engineered than many aftermarket parts.
