With the effective power and handling mods performed at this stage, Leung could have turned hot laps to his heart's desire and kept the S2000 in full sleeper mode, but his vision was always that of a three-pronged attack. The array of styling parts is a veritable who's who of JDM body tuning. ASM, a line of performance products from Autobacs ASM Yokohama, was sourced for its front bumper (complete with carbon canards), carbon splitter and rear fender flare treatment. A Top Secret rear diffuser and vortex generator is teamed with an Asuka carbon-fiber trunk, iNGS+1 Z-Power carbon wing and GT Motoring exhaust cap. Other custom touches include the Varis GT-spec front fenders, Craft Square side view mirrors and a J's Racing carbon-fiber hood.

In the cockpit, the hits keep coming with a Bride Gias and XAX II seat (wrapped with special Bride leather), an AEM serial gauge array, Defi D-series boost readout and a Personal 330mm steering wheel mounted on a Works Bell quick-release adapter.

Maximizing the driving experience in a car that will see a lot of track time takes an acute sense of balance, which Leung has accomplished. The blown F20C has an aggressive powerband with a healthy peak of 385hp and a suspension with sufficient agility and adjustability to take full advantage. He's also gone the extra mile and addressed aesthetics in a tasteful manner. "I love how the car handles, on both mountain roads as well as the track, and the lines of the car look so sexy," says Leung. "The S2000 will be my ongoing project, so I will be updating some things soon." We say stick with Plan A and drive it until the wheels fall off.
