While we had Pathak's ear, we asked what plans Vishnu had for the forthcoming Lancer Ralliart, essentially a detuned Evo X set to compete with the Subaru Impreza WRX (see our July 2008 issue). "We're looking into [the Ralliart]. It's got potential," says Pathak.
That it has. And if Vishnu can perform the same kind of ECU wizardry on the Evo Lite that it's done with the X, then good things are on the way for those of us looking to go fast on a budget.
