Mission accomplished, according to HIN and Import Faceoff judges, because Logan's clean yet aggressive-looking Impreza has taken home some heavy metal hardware, including Best in Show. It takes tremendous attention to detail to snag the big trophies, and Logan has certainly paid great attention to every area of his Subaru's appearance and performance. The super-clean interior has some very subtle upgrades that include the Alcantara-wrapped OEM steering wheel and the use of Wedge Engineering seat rails for that race-car-low seating position. On the outside, some equally subtle modifications have been used to very good effect, like the paint-matched black grille and foglight housings, rear wiper delete and smoked front and rear reflectors. Under the hood, it's the white ceramic-coated turbo, charge pipes, intake manifold and strut tower brace that have the most visual impact.
Logan Schlegel's '08 Subaru Impreza STI may have very little in common with his father's '68 El Camino, but the passion it took to build them into the personalized dream machines they are today is very much the same.
