Tuerck drove with precision and passion all afternoon, but it was a momentary lapse of reason that led him into the wall in the final battle against Tanner Foust in a glorious display of tandem drifting.

Although Gary always wishes for a win, he is pleased with the performance and happy that Ryan is uninjured. The guys are more than a crew - these men are friends. The car is in pretty bad shape, but I can tell by Gary's "disappointed but proud dad" look that it's not the end of the world.
