Mazda GT Spec Racer - Just Driven

The shifter certainly keeps you busy. First gear is good for about 60mph; after that I'm rowing constantly to keep the revs up in the 7000 to 9000 neighborhood. The four-speed dog box is awesome, though-a true H-pattern. There's never any doubt as to which gear you're throwing it into. That's good, since I have to keep my eyes up to avoid stuffing it into one of the civilians out there. I can only imagine how much fun it is to be surrounded by a pack of these things.
