With almost four decades of tuning experience you could say that Tomei Powered knows a few things about making performance products, especially when talking exhausts. Tomei is proud to announce three new exhaust systems and a new titanium straight pipe specifically made for the Toyota 86, Scion FR-S, and Subaru BRZ. To please a variety of tuners, Tomei designed three different exhausts for three different directions of performance. The three muffler types include Type 60R, Type 60S, and the Type 80. Each features a different design and purpose.

Tomei engineers designed the racing model Type-60R for naturally aspirated engines and focused on weight reduction and exhaust flow efficiency; focusing less on noise limits. On the other hand, the Type 60S is more of a street-oriented exhaust. It is a milder sport model designed for that perfect balance of sound volume and performance. Consider it for those living in strict exhaust and sound limit law areas.

The Type 80 exhaust has the largest main pipe diameter at coincidentally 80mm and a larger flow design to accommodate forced induction setups. Its main focus is maximum exhaust flow efficiency, weight reduction, and the best overall performance gain. All three exhausts are constructed with full titanium and have the same MSRP price of $1,090 (USD).

Additionally, Tomei will simultaneously be releasing its newest Expreme Ti titanium cat straight pipe. Weighing an estimated 3 pounds with a pipe diameter of 60.5mm, it works to improve exhaust flow and further improve weight reduction. It carries an MSRP of $390.00 (USD).
