Last month we alluded to how we're missing out on the Nürburgring Edition of the 370Z, but there is good news on the Z front-the NISMO Z has landed in American showrooms with a $39,130 price tag.

This second-generation NISMO Z offers a bump in power, style and agility. The NISMO Z's 3.7-liter DOHC V-6 engine with Variable Valve Event and Lift Control (VVEL) develops 350 bhp and 276 ft-lbs of torque (versus the standard 370Z Coupe's 332 bhp and 270 ft-lbs of torque), thanks in part to free-flowing exhaust system and ECU programming.

A specially upgraded suspension means NISMO Zs will pull more Gs. A reinforced strut tower brace and a pair of performance body dampers manage road-input vibrations and help contribute to the NISMO 370Z's stability and performance feel. The NISMO-tuned suspension includes specially tuned springs, shock absorbers and stabilizer bars. Wider, unique five-spoke 19-inch Rays forged aluminum-alloy wheels are wrapped with Yokohama ADVAN Sport Y-rated high-performance tires. Nissan Sport Brakes and a Viscous Limited-Slip Differential are also standard on the NISMO 370Z. Enjoy the drive.
