Lexus LF-C and LF-Ch Concepts - Lexus Looking to Spocom for Lower Demographics, Rise in Sales

Looking to drop into our sport compact demographic, Lexus will be showing some youth-oriented, entry-level luxury offerings at the Frankfurt Auto Show. The LF-C and LF-Ch concepts may represent a new design direction for Lexus. The retractable hardtop LF-C and hatchback LF-Ch hybrid certainly have the body lines to impress, but we're wondering about the bottom line. Entry level and young translates into a reasonable price tag; how do a hardtop convertible and a hybrid fit that bill? The story line has some type of smaller Lexus rolling into the European theater in 2011.

The North American market should be in the cards and this styling philosophy will most likely find its way into redesigns of Lexus' current portfolio in the years to come.
