Big Jumps Of WRC - Jump Of The Month

Markko Mrtin's Subaru WRC was still gaining altitude when this shot was taken. Amazingly, after 180 feet in the air, threading the needle through unforgiving pine trees at more than 100 mph, Mrtin landed on the road, foot on the floor, and never looked back (well, not until we showed him this shot). Realize that 180 feet is nearly two-thirds of a football field. The jumps at Rally Finland are big enough to be their own sideshow at the monster truck-o-rama, but here they're just another obstacle on the road to victory.
