The Border radiator was nearly a drop-in replacement for the stock radiator, requiring only minor adjustments to the mounting brackets to accommodate an airbag wiring harness that is unique to the U.S.-market Z. The core on the Border radiator is twice as thick as the OEM radiator.

These Courtesy Nissan silicone hoses are incredibly complex, but should prove more reliable than the stock rubber. The turbo inlet hoses also eliminate many of the kinks and bumps of the stock hoses, potentially improving airflow at extremely high power levels.

These T-Bolt clamps from hose techniques can apply far more clamping force than conventional hose clamps. This can be critical on intercooler pipes and high-pressure cooling systems. All the suspension and chassis mods we have done have transformed Project 300XZ. The car feels like it shrunk to SE-R Sentra size

In stock form, a little bit of air can leak up and over the radiator, reducing its effectiveness. In stock form, this is no problem, but with our power output, we need all the cooling we can get. This Border carbon fiber radiator baffle keeps air on the straight and narrow path toward the radiator.

Nissan 300Zx Coupe Interior
After hours of hard labor and cussing, the Autopower roll bar fit in place nicely. Note that all of the factory panels and carpet fit perfectly. This is where the cussing came in.

The all-rubber stock endlink (left) has lots of compliance and bind, The Suspension Techniques unit is an improvement with a spherical bearing on one end and stiff polyurethane on the other, but the polyurethane still has some give, and still binds at extreme angles. The NuTech end link has no bind and no soft material, increasing the effectiveness of the Suspension Techniques bar. The NuTech end links are also adjustable for length to ensure proper geometry.

With adjustable anti-roll bars like the Suspension Techniques bar we are using, the end link can operate at extreme angles. This makes it especially critical that the end link doesn't bind.

Energy Suspension's hard polyurethane steering rack bushings replaced the stock soft rubber bushings for improved steering feel and, most notably, improved durability.
