Once we cut the spring seat off the shock body and installed the GC coil-over collar, our Konis looked like serious racing shocks. Although this step is not necessary, we felt it really cleaned up the look of the shock and gave us some additional inside tire clearance if we ever need it.

Having adjustability of camber is critical for an autocrosser in order to use 100 percent of the tire's contact patch. The Ground Control plates also allow us to adjust caster in the front, which gives us additional negative camber when the steering wheel is turned.

We cut the trunk liner so the Edelbrock brace could slide through it, giving the trunk a finished look. The brace takes up very little trunk room. Note the area of the shock tower we had to cut out so the camber plate would have room for adjustment.
