Cutting a straight line through floppy plastic is a challenge. After failing with the body saw, we clamped a straight-edge (hacksaw blade) to the bumper and followed it with a die grinder. The bumper still sprung back, leaving us with an arc instead of a straight line. Oh, well. It's a Krylon car.
