SEMA 2006 - Day Four
Story Jason Siu, Photos Modified Staff

Day four and we are back on the floor of the massive Las Vegas Convention Centre. While day four is getaway day for many and things are winding down – most business is conducted on the first three days, and no press conferences are scheduled on day four – it’s business as usual for the Modified Staff as we continue to walk the halls and parking lots to bring you the goods from the show.

Day four is typically the day where we solidify our schedule for this weekend’s feature car photo shoots – while most show attendees are flying or driving home we are staying to shoot the hottest cars from the show to bring them to you in future issues of the magazine. While we won’t give you the exact details of the cars we are shooting, let’s just say that some sick subcompacts are lined up as well as a crazy S13, a wicked NSX and a modded version of a platform that we have never featured in the mag before. With almost 2,000 vehicles on display at the 2006 SEMA Show – obviously all not related to the spo-com scene – we are picking the cream of the crop to bring them to you.

And to get the goods on those vehicles we’ve walked the over one million square feet of space along with the over 100,000 show attendees. To give you some perspective, if all the vehicles at the show were displayed bumper to bumper the line would stretch more than 5.5 miles and equal the length of more than 83 football fields and 129 Boeing 747s. With that many vehicles on display there are bound to be some real winners and we will be bringing those to you soon.
