| June0904__Gardella Racing qualified number one this past weekend during the Renegade NOPI Race Wars in Cordova, IL. The team recorded a NDRA best ET of 8.521 @ 164 MPH. GR suffered electrical problems which continued into the last two qualifying rounds. Gardella Racing worked hard to find to a solution before the start of eliminations, however even with the hours spent locating the bug, they were unable to rid the Civic of the problem. The team put up a tough fight and was a semi-finalist in the event. Gardella Racing is currently working around the clock to prepare for the Mopar Mountain Madness NHRA Sport Compact Nationals this coming weekend, June 12 & 13, at Bandimere Speedway, Denver, CO. I hope everyone was tuned into ESPN2 last Sunday, June 6, at noon EST to watch Gardella Racing take home the victory at Atco Speedway in Atco NJ.
