July2104__Gardella Racing qualified number three during the NHRA Sport Compact Nationals at The Strip @ Las Vegas Speedway

The team worked hard during eliminations and in the second round took out the Quaker State team. The semi-final round proved to be a great race between Gardella Racing and Mopar. Gary was on fire off the line with a .452 RT. Gardella Racing was ahead to the 1,000 ft mark, the team was .025 seconds behind at the line. "Hands down this was the closest race I have ever been in." The team maintains second place in NHRA points. Gardella Racing is excited to continue their points lead at the NOPI race wars in St. Louis, MO on July 24 & 25.
