Axle PathKingpin Inclination Angle makes the axle travel in an upside down U-shape when the wheels are turned. The axle is at the top of the U in the straight-ahead position. Turning the wheels off center lifts the front of the car which, in combination with caster, creates the self-centering effect. Caster has been removed from this graphic to simplify the effect
